Day 1:  Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning, you will be picked up by your private guide, ready for your first day adventure to Manyara.

Lake Manyara is quite stunning, small but most diverse park, with multiple unique tourist attractions. A place you can witness a large variety of wildlife and bird species very closely. Its greatly renowned for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and exciting sight, you’re likely to spot. The famous migratory birds ‘pink flamingos’ and over 500 bird species making it a perfect destination for bird lovers. Other resident game residing in this park includes; large antelope herds, Wildebeest and zebra are joined by Thomson’s gazelle, hartebeest and impala.

At the time of your choice we return to your lodgings, for relaxation in anticipation of your next epic night experience. Enjoy an early dinner before you depart on a night-drive. Many of the cats are active at this time and you can see lions, leopards, serval, and civet in addition to hyena, porcupine, honey badger and much more.

Day 2:   Manyara to Arusha (Chemka Hot Spring)

This beautiful mineral spring originates from Kilimanjaro ground waters. The water forms a clear and clean pond covered with a beautiful lush forest which is a real draw for those who wants to relax.

The Chemka Hot Spring is an ideal place to ease those tired legs after a Long drive from Manyara. They’re a little bit of heaven that’s perfect for a daytrip, and those warm blue waters invite you to linger, swim or explore. Return refreshed, revitalised and relaxed.

Day 1:              Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

From Arusha, after enjoying your hearty dinner at your lodges you will be picked up by private safari guide ready for your first day adventure.

Day 2:              Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning we indulge ourselves in the second day game drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a place enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, also recognized as one of the seven Natural Wonders in Africa.

The caldera is uniquely named as the ‘Garden of Eden’ cause of its dazzling beauty and a paradise to more than thousands of wildlife both large and small sized including the BIG 5. One of the few blessed destinations where one can easily see the rare black rhinos’ at a close distance.

We will take a slow game-drive in the crater floor to intake its stunning beauty. In the afternoon you can enjoy your lunch down by Hippo Lake while observing the magnificient view of bird life resting on the tree branches and the nature in general. In the late afternoon ascend out of the crater then drive to your accommodations in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House.

 

Day 3:              Tarangire National Park to Arusha

The Tarangire is well-known for huge herds of elephants dotting its plains like cattles. The park’s savannah landscape dominated by baobab trees, Ancient River valleys, and seasonal swamps which are major draw for lots of wildlife especially during the dry season. Whilst the game drive you will enjoy some remarkable encounters i.e. the abandoned termite mounds providing home to great colonies of mongoose, Large antelope herds mostly noticeable during the dry season, Wildebeest and zebra are joined by Thomson’s gazelle, eland, hartebeest and impala. Not forgetting the big cat.

After lunch we drive back to Arusha whereby we will arrive in the late evening. If you have an evening or late night flight we will be happy to drop you off at the airport in time to catch you flight. We are also happy to assist organizing extra night accommodations, if you would like to spend some time in Arusha.

Day 1:                         Arusha to Central Serengeti

The Serengeti adventure begins. Make your way to the central part of the world famous Serengeti national park by air transfer and meet your guide at Seronera airstrip who will pick you up and show the amazing wonders of the Serengeti.

The Maasai translation of 'Serengeti' is 'Siringet' which means 'a vast land that runs forever, where endless plains meet the sky. This is the most renowned wildlife park in the entire world. Over 10,000 sq. miles of pristine wilderness play host to the Great Migration and boast the highest density of large predators, including lions, leopards and cheetahs, in the world! Grass plains, woodlands, hills, and rivers abound. The variety and abundance of wildlife here is unmatched anywhere else in Africa.

The entire day is set aside to explore the vast plains of the central Serengeti, we will have closure of your game safari at the time of your choice, then proceed to your accommodation for an overnight leisure and hot lunch.

Day 2:                         Central Serengeti

Enjoy unlimited mileage game drive, with further opportunity of witnessing other resident games that can be seen in the vast plains of the Serengeti i.e. the toppis, pumba, variety species of gazelles, the BIG 5 and the Ugly 5. The areas is also gifted with more than a hundred species of birds including the secretary birds, the ostrich just to mention a few.

Good chance to discover a lot on the wildlife habit, African culture, gifted nature, medicinal use of various plants not forgetting it is an epic time to photographers.

Relish the magic of the park from the air by booking a balloon safari (optional), where you will get pleasure from observing an awe-inspiring view of wildlife, plains, rivers and the sunrise over Serengeti National Park.

Day 3:                         Central to North Serengeti

After breakfast depart to the northern part of the vast Serengeti plains. Enjoy your game drive en-route to the destination.

The Northern Serengeti is known as an exceptional destination to view the great wildebeest migration. Separated from the Maasai Mara by the Mara River and its resident teeming crocodiles, a migration safari here offers exceptional and dramatic sightings of the popular river crossings. Though it is said it is uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day, with a little bit of luck you may witness over thousands of wildebeest crossing the Great Mara River.

The Northern Serengeti is the gateway to the Wildebeest migration, get ready to be amazed by the wonders of nature in this area.

Day 4:                         North Serengeti

Aside from the river crossing the Northern Plain is rewarded with gorgeous landscapes of green rolling hills, granite outcrops and acacia woodlands dotting open savanna. Not forgetting other resident game such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, giraffe, topi, eland and hippo.

Before departing from your accommodation in the morning you will discuss with your guide this days' schedule, you may start by enjoying a game drive in the area before heading to the Mara River to witness the river crossing an awe-inspiring event of them all or vice versa

As we approach toward the end of this adventure we will make sure that nothing is left pending and that you have enjoyed your adventure to the fullest. Spend your night at a perfectly located camp, situated in the heart of the migration.

Day 5:                         Serengeti to Arusha

We finalize our safari by enjoying an early morning game drive in the area and the beautiful sunrise over the Serengeti Plains. By 8:30 we will head back to our accommodations to have an early morning hearty breakfast and other preparations as we wait for our departure time. (The drive time from Kogatende Airstrip is just 10 minutes away from the Camp).

DAY 1:                   Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation you will then proceed towards the vast Serengeti. On your way you will pass through the Ngorongoro, where you will be able to see the breathtaking view of the enormous crater from afar then continue toward the Naabi Gate.

The Serengeti is arguably one of the most famous in the world and covers 5,700 square miles of grassland, riverine forest, woodlands and savannah. It is famed for its spectacular scenery, diverse wildlife and its part in the impressive annual migration of more than a million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of other animals trekking across wide open plains in the Serengeti.

Enjoy a short game drive in the area before heading to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight relaxation after long exhausting en route game safari.

Today will finalize our game safari in Serengeti, after breakfast, depart with your a picnic lunch for final morning game drive in the Serengeti. Later in the afternoon we will do an en route towards the Ngorongoro where we will enjoy your first on foot adventure

Before proceeding to your accommodations you will have a short nature walk along the crater rim with an experienced guide and an armed ranger, the track takes you through thick forests of the Ngorongoro Crater rim you will able to see the stunning views of the crater floor below. Enjoy the sight and sounds of birds and some large fauna i.e. the zebras whilst taking your stroll.

Later we will head to our accommodations that perfectly situated on the Rim for evening leisure and hot lunch.

Day 2:              Tarangire national park

Activity:           After a leisurely breakfast, make your way to the famous Tarangire National Park. A perfect introduction to the African safari experience. The park was named after the Tarangire River that runs through the centre of the park from South to Northwest and drains into Lake Burunge.

                        Tarangire is well-known for huge herds of elephants dotting its plains like cattles, landscape dominated by majestic baobab trees, ancient river valleys and seasonal swamps which are major draw for lots of wildlife especially during the dry season. Large African mammals can be found here including lion, leopard, buffalo and kudu.

This entire day is set aside to enjoy an adventurous game drive in the area, in the afternoon you stop by to enjoy your picnic lunch before continuing with further afternoon game drive. We will return back to our accommodations later in the evening after having an exclusive experience on the ground abundant with wildlife.

DAY 3&4:        Central Serengeti National Park

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes and forests of ‘the land that time forgot', dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions.

DAY 1:                   Welcome to Arusha

DAY 2:                   Arusha National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your lodgings ready for the first day active expedition. You will enjoy a short game drive through the park en-route to Ngorodoto Crater from where you will start your ride with Wayo Africa. The ride mainly goes round the rim of the Crater with stunning views into the Crater. A ranger will accompany the ride since it is possible to encounter buffalo. Other animals likely to be seen are Colobus Monkeys, giraffes and various birds species. The ride is partly on a gravel track and partly on a small animals track that can allow for some muddy riding. There are steep up and steep down parts during this ride.

The Serengeti adventure begins. Make your way to the central part of the world famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro where you will be able to see the breathtaking view of the enormous caldera. Next stop will be the Maasai Boma you will have an opportunity to learn about their culture and life style before continuing toward the Naabi Gate.

After a leisurely breakfast, make your way to the famous Tarangire national park. The park is situated 120km Southwest of Arusha and was named after the Tarangire River that runs through the centre of the park from South to Northwest and drains into Lake Burunge.

Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephant and vast numbers of majestic baobab trees. Large African mammals can be found here including lion, leopard, buffalo and kudu. Enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites within the park.

You will be here for 2 days to explore the beauty of Tarangire.

Day 4:                    Tarangire to Southern Serengeti

The great wildebeest migration is considered as one of the greatest wonders of the wild. It's constant move of mass of hooved animals insearch of fresh pastures and it is totally dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year. The period from late December to April the masses are concentrated in the Southern plains of the Serengeti.

You will go for a drive and watch abundant wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, hyenas, and antelopes scattered in the area.

Day 5&6:              Continue exploring the Ndutu Area

Activity:                Continue exploration of the area with further opportunity to witness the so many wonders of the Serengeti. Late January to February is the best time to witness calving. Roughly more than 5000 young wildebeest are born every single day during the peak of the calving season. New borns adaptation speed is quite impressive, watch as they take off running just minutes after being born. The calving season is also one of the major draw, as it’s a great chance to witness a lot of predatory actions as predators are on close watch of vulnerable calves.

                                Beside from enjoying your game in the area, there is a possibility of immersing yourselves in other impressive activities at the Serengeti National Park. You can go hot air balloons ride, examine up close the Olduvai Gorge. You will be here for entire 3 days.

Day 9:                    Fly back to Arusha

We finalize our safari by enjoying an early morning game drive in the area and the beautiful sunrise over the Serengeti Plains. By 08:30 we will head back to our accommodations to have an early morning hearty breakfast and other preparations as we wait for our departure time.

Safari Highlight

This adventurous tour is tailor made to follow the migration pattern in the vast Serengeti, with a little bit of luck you may witness more than thousands of wildebeest cross the Great Mara River. It also combines other stunning parks such as the Tarangire and the world's most famous caldera.

 

Day 1:              Arusha Town

Activity:           Welcome to Tanzania, your safari destination. On arrival at the Kilimanjaro international airport, you will proceed to Customs for procedures and then collect your luggage. Outside you will be met by the representative from Natoka Africa Safaris Company and transferred to your reserved hotel.

                        Accommodation: Arusha Coffee Lodge

 

Day 2 and 3:   Tarangire national park

Activity:           After a leisurely brekfast, make your way to the famous Tarangire national park.The park  is situated 120km Southwest of Arusha and was named after the Tarangire River that runs through the centre of the park from South to Northwest and drains into Lake Burunge.

                        Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephant and vast numbers of majestic baobab trees. Large African mammals can be found here including lion, leopard, buffalo and kudu. Enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites within the park.

                        You will be here for 2 days to explore the beauty of Tarangire.

Day 4: Cultural activities in Karatu

After breakfast make your way to Karatu. Along the way indulge in a cultural experience at Karatu town. This is a small town next to the Ngorongoro crater highlands, there is a high diversity of people in this place but most important are the Iraqw people, the Maasai, Cushtic-speaking ethnic group. Whilst your visit you will have an opportunity to learn about their culture and lifestyle in general.

Day 5:  Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Activity:           After breakfast make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Along the way indulge in a cultural experience at Karatu town. This is a small town next to the Ngorongoro crater highlands, there is a high diversity of people in this place but most important are the Iraqw people, Cushtic-speaking ethnic group.

Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world' the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's best-known wildlife arenas. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes and forests of ‘the land that time forgot', dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions.

DAY 6, 7 and 8: Central Serengeti national park

The Serengeti adventure begins. Make your way to the central part of the world famous Serengeti national park.

The Maasai translation of 'Serengeti' is 'Siringet' which means 'a vast land that runs forever, where endless plains meet the sky. This is the most renowned wildlife park in the entire world. Day 9 - 11:      Northern Serengeti national park

After breakfast depart to the northern part of the vast Serengeti plains. Enjoy your game drive en-route to the destination.

The Northern Serengeti is known as an exceptional destination to view the great wildebeest migration. Separated from the Maasai Mara by the Mara River and its resident teeming crocodiles, a migration safari here offers exceptional and dramatic sightings of the popular river crossings.

The Northern Serengeti is the gateway to the Wildebeest migration, get ready to be amazed by the wonders of nature in this area for 3 days.

Day 12:            Arusha

                        Upon finishing your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kogatende airstrip in time to catch your local flight to Arusha by Coastal Aviation departing at 09h25.

                        On arrival at Arusha airstrip, you will be met by the representative from Natoka Africa Safaris and be transferred to the hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing and unwinding on your safari adventures.

Day 13:            Arusha

Activity;           Enjoy a relaxing breakfast before embarking on a brief cultural experience and souvenir shopping in Arusha town at the famous Cultural heritage centre.

In the later afternoon, you will be transferred to the Kilimanjaro international airport for your international flight back home.
